Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)

Since I've recovered from my surgery AnĂbal and I have been taking Aiden to lots of parks and stuff like that. I love watching him run around, laughing and having fun. It's in those moments that you realize what really matters in life. Ever since I found out that I was having a boy I always listened to John Lennon's Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy) and kind of started to cry. I love my boy more than anything else in this world so I wanted to share the song. Here you go:

Lemon Berry drink.

Hi guys!
I made a pretty fruity non alcoholic drink today and it was so yummy that I thought I should share.
So I started by squeezing a lemon on the glass (seeds, pulp and all). Then I just added water and ice (you could use ginger ale if you'd like). Then I took a look at my drink and thought it was a little bland so then I remembered that I had some frozen berries in the freezer so I took some raspberries and blackberries and threw them in as well. It was very refreshing. I hope you guys enjoy it! Cheers!

Gallstones... ewwww!

Hey!
I know that I promised a everyday look tutorial. I'm I think I might not be able to do it for a while. Recently, I got really sick and now I need to have my gallbladder taken out. (Nothing serious) Anyways, the thing is that I've been feeling kinda poorly and haven't really had the time. Now with this gallstone thing I've had to change my diet and it's been hard, but not as hard as I thought. I eat mostly raw foods. Basically I can only eat some vegetables and some fruits (I can eat salmon and trout, but I don't have it in my fridge). Mostly what I do is I mix the vegetables that I can eat in a bowl and call it a salad. The changes in my body have been exceptional. All my stretch marks are gone, all other weird spots I had on my body are gone, my skin feels fantastic, I don't even get gallbladder attacks, my hair is looking really good (but that also has to do with the fact that I'm giving myself a hair cholesterol treatment every week) and I feel way lighter. Things are really working out for my body with this new diet plan.

Things I ca eat:

Beets
Cucumbers
Green beans
Sweet potatoes
Avocados
Vinegars
Garlic

Shallots
Tomatoes
cold water fish- salmon, trout
Lemons
Grapes and fresh organic grape juice
apples, berries, papaya, pears
Omega 3 oils

Makeup Tutorial soon!

Hi!
OMG you guys. I'm totally sorry that I haven't really posted anything lately. I promise I'm gonna post a makeup tutorial soon. If you guys wanted to know how to do a specific look you could just comment below and I will gladly take up the offer. If not then I'll just do like a simple everyday look or like a dark lip look (which is actually what I'm raving about lately). So, yeah, hope you guys are doing good and I'll put that up soon!

Pixel Birthday!

Today was my boy's birthday party! My boyfriend and I finally decided on an 8bit vintage video game theme and since there's almost nothing with that theme out there we had to make our own. My boyfriend even made the cartoon that looks like our boy, Aiden. Here's a few pics!

I hope that this post is helpful if you ever want to throw an 8bit birthday!

Gift wrapping on a budget DIY

Lately I've been pretty busy with college, Aiden and well,  Christmas. I finally got around to buying gifts (all below 10 dollars) last week, but the money wasn't enough to wrap them so I had to improvise. In this post I'm gonna show you how to gift wrap on a budget!

First you're gonna need three main objects. 1. stick glue 2. a pair of scissors 3. magazine paper

Ok, so you begin by cutting three long lines (as long as the paper) then tree lines a little shorter than those, and then two even shorter than those three, until you finally cut one more a little shorter then those two.

Then you take the first long strip and apply the stick glue on the end.
After applying the glue you curl the paper like so
Then you basically do the same to the other side so that it ends up looking like this:

Ok, so you do that to all the strips except for the last little one. That one goes like this:

They're all supposed to look like this:
And after you've done all that, you begin by applying glue on the back of the first long strip like so:
Then you place it on top of another long strip so that it looks like this:
You're gonna keep doing that with all the other strips in order from longest to shortest.
Now for the little strip. You're going to glue it on right in the middle of your almost bow.

And VOILA!

I know that obviously you can't just add a bow on an object and call it a gift so now comes the second part. You just need your bow and a paper bag.
You put your gift inside the paper bag and just close it and tape the bow to the closing part. Trust me. It'll look good. Also, if your gifts are too big you can use brown paper or if you're as lucky as I am you might have some gift wrapping paper lying around so just wrap your gift and add your bow! Here's are some pictures of my tree so that you have an idea of what it might look like. (I know I have a puny tree, but I mean this is a post about money saving through the holidays)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

An afternoon at the park.

We took Aiden on his first trip to the park. We went on the swings and he got on a bouncy fire truck. He had such a good time that I think that we might celebrate his birthday at that park.

ps. I'm going to be posting a DIY really soon!
